Cancellation & Refund

CANCELLATION CLAUSE
All project cancellations must be submitted in writing via email to be considered official. Verbal cancellations, social media messages, or other informal methods will not be accepted.

Client-Initiated Cancellations:
If the Client chooses to cancel the project before completion:
  • A cancellation fee equal to twenty percent (20%) of the remaining unpaid balance of the total project fee will apply.
  • No files, assets, or deliverables—completed or in progress—will be released unless the project has been paid in full.
  • If the project has already been paid in full, the Client will receive a credit equal to twenty percent (20%) of the total project amount, valid toward future services within six (6) months of the cancellation date.
  • Work completed up to the point of cancellation will be delivered “as is” with no obligation for further revision, refinement, or finalization by the Designer.

All payments made prior to cancellation are non-refundable and non-transferable, except as stated above.

Designer-Initiated Cancellations:
The Designer reserves the right to cancel the project at any time due to extended Client unresponsiveness (see Dormant Clause), breach of agreement, or any behavior deemed unprofessional, disrespectful, or harmful to the working relationship. Unprofessional behavior may include, but is not limited to:
  • Repeated failure to meet deadlines for feedback, content, or approvals
  • Disrespectful, aggressive, or inappropriate communication
  • Attempts to significantly change project scope without agreement or additional payment
  • Demands for services not included in the signed agreement
  • Undermining the Designer’s process, expertise, or professional boundaries

In the event the Designer initiates cancellation:
  • The Client will receive a pro-rated refund for any unused portion of the project, calculated based on work completed to date
  • All completed deliverables up to the cancellation point will be delivered “as is”
  • No additional revisions, communication, or deliverables will be provided unless otherwise agreed upon in writing

The Designer will not be held liable for any direct or indirect losses resulting from the termination of the project.


REFUND POLICY

Due to the custom and creative nature of design services, all payments and project deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable.

If a client chooses to cancel a project before completion, no refunds will be issued for work completed or payments already made. Any work completed up to the cancellation date will be delivered as-is once all outstanding balances have been paid.

For projects paid in full, a credit equal to 20% of the total project amount may be applied toward future services if approved and used within 6 months of cancellation.

If Erika Maram LLC chooses to cancel a project, the client may receive a pro-rated refund for any unused portion of the project based on work not yet completed.
